Developed in 1986, the Bruce FFTS Mk4 anchor is still one of the only drag embedment anchors available on the market that completely satisfies the HHP anchor rules regarding self-right as set out by DNV GL. The cranked shank design, when compared to a straight shank anchor is able to more easily penetrate the sea bed.
The table gives nominal dimensions of certain sizes but since the anchors are fabricated from steel plate they can be supplied in any size to suit customer requirements, from 250kg to 60,000kg.
