Ocean Guard Foam Filled fenders are built to the stringent specifications that qualify them for use in the United States Navy and Coast Guard. These fenders are constructed with closed-cell energy-absorbing foam and protected by a non-marking polyurethane skin. Then the fender is reinforced with tire nylon cord for consistent performance over years of service. Ocean Cushion net chains and tires consist of aircraft tires wrapped on all sides of the fender with heavy-duty galvanized stud link chain. Then the fender is secured with galvanized shackles at all connecting points, up to the tough clevis plates at each end of the fender. These fenders have as much as 40 percent higher energy absorption than comparable sized pneumatic marine fenders. They also have a slow, gradual reaction force compared to hard rubber type fenders. These fenders have a very easy installation and can conform to fixed or floating installations. These fenders are hull conforming which means that protrusions from the ship hull will not damage or harm the fender. These fenders are very low maintenance because there are no pressure relief or inflation valves to maintain. These fenders are unsinkable even when they are punctured, unlike comparable pneumatic marine fenders.

Ocean Guard Monopile Donut fenders are designed to protect ships by freely traveling up and down on a stationary steel monopile, while providing an energy-absorbing fender system. These fenders are ideal for areas with high tidal swings. These fenders are constructed using closed-cell energy-absorbing foam and protected by a non-marking polyurethane skin. Then the fender is reinforced with tire nylon cord for consistent performance over years of service. The fenders have strength built into it by using a heavy-duty galvanized steel sleeve. The sleeve is then fitted with internal pads to allow the fender free movement along the steel monopile. The fenders are a 100 percent closed-cell foam constructed to absorb high impact forces. They also have a slow, gradual reaction force compared to hard rubber type pneumatic marine fenders. They also are easy to install by lowering the fender onto a pre-driven steel monopile, using lifting eyes on the fender. The fender is also hull conforming, which means that protrusions from the ship hull will not damage or harm the fender. These fenders are very low maintenance because there are no pressure relief or inflation valves to maintain. Ocean Guard fenders are unsinkable even when punctured.
