DCL has been doing these conversions for years – taking standard shackles and turning them into ROV-operable connection points for subsea lifting operations. On this project each assembly was:
- Proof load tested with independent 3rd-party witness
- Function tested for smooth ROV engagement and release
- Turned around on a tight schedule to meet offshore dates
- Built to a custom design for the client’s subsea lifting plan
