Wire RopeThimbles

DCL Mooring and Rigging offers several types of Crosby wire rope thimbles – standard and extra heavy. Both are designed with Hot Dip galvanized steel; some extra heavy wire rope thimbles are available in stainless steel. The standard thimbles are perfect for light duty applications and loading conditions, while the extra heavy thimbles provide greater protection against wear and deformation of the wire rope eye. Stainless steel models are recommended for more corrosive environments.
